Anjali Damania, an anti-corruption activist, has given a deadline to Chhagan Bhujbal, the food and civil supplies minister, and his nephew Sameer Bhujbal, to settle the dues owed to a widow whose property they allegedly grabbed. Damania stated that if the dues are not paid, they will hold a peaceful vigil outside the building. Sameer Bhujbal had agreed to pay the family Rs 8.5 crores after the intervention of an NCP leader, but Damania insists that the entire sum should be paid upfront.
