Odisha chief minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik on Thursday said his party will contest the 2024 Lok Sabha polls on its own, as it has “always” done. Patnaik made the declaration after a meeting with PM Narendra Modi here, two days after Bihar CM and JD(U) boss Nitish Kumar called on him in Bhubaneswar as part of an effort to forge a united opposition front for the 2024 polls.
