Modi's birthplace on Unesco tentative list

The Archaeological Survey of India said on Tuesday three new cultural sites in India, including the iconic Sun Temple at Modhera, the historic Vadnagar town in Gujarat - PM Modi's birth place - and the rock-cut relief sculptures of Unakoti in Tripura, have been added to the tentative list of Unesco world heritage sites.

Rescue operation in the collapsed portion of Sikyara tunnel was delayed due to frequent obstacles of iron girders.
