A total of 46,960 Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel have taken voluntary retirement since 2019, according to the home ministry. The highest number of retirements came from the Border Security Force (BSF) with 21,860 personnel opting to leave. The Central Reserve Police Forces (CRPF) followed with 12,893 retirements. Nineteen enemy properties in Uttar Pradesh were sold through e-auction on September 9, 2023, generating over Rs 2709 crore. The valuation of immovable enemy property is conducted by a committee chaired by the district magistrate.
